Separating The Truth From The Garbage

In 2007, Waste Management Inc. submitted an application to the County of Ventura seeking approval to triple the size of the Simi Valley Landfill and Recycling Center; substantially increasing its acreage, total volume and allowable daily tonnage.

The same year, a group of Simi Valley residents led by Barbara Williamson formed the Simi Valley Landfill Expansion Task Force to keep the public informed and engaged on the issues involving the landfill expansion and to ensure the community's voice is heard.

Don't let Ventura County decide to make Simi Valley the host to one of the largest dumps in the Western United States.
